We would like to invite you to participate in the longest kayaking race in the whole Europe (the sixth longest in the World) – the GAUJA XXL quest.

The distance is 310 km – it is established along longest river of Latvia, which is also is one of the most beautiful. In addition for less-experienced kayakers we offer the world's longest kayaking relay competition, the overall length is of 420 km and the distance is divided into 8 stages. This will be the second GAUJA XXL quest, this year's individual 310 km race will start on May 13 2011 at 19:00, 420 km team relay will star on May 14 at 05:00. The best results of year 2010 was: individual 310 km race – K1MEN 31 hours 49 minutes, K2MEN - 33 hours 22 minutes, 420 km team relay – 47 hours 05 minutes.

You will be able not only to prove you athletic abilities, strength and courage, but also to enjoy the untouched natural beauty. GAUJA XXL crosses nearly half of Latvia - from the Estonian border to the Gulf of Riga. Enjoy the Gauja XXL quest and call your friends with you! 420 km relay can do almost anyone!
